TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Ikonika took us on a hypnotising deep dive into the world of amapiano; Rinse regular and Editor of The Move Magazine Jyoty got the bassbins rattling with an intense dancehall mix; Flex FM regular Gabriella (fka Tino) fused house and techno with garage, breaks and more; Murder He Wrote whipped up a bass-heavy session of UK funky, house and garage; Grandmixxer served up two rugged hours from across the spectrum of instrumental grime; Spooky gave us a look at some of his favourite grime blends and dubs; Bianca Oblivion fused together funky, reggaeton, dancehall and more in her latest mix; Teki Latex managed to cram in just about every form of dance music, from UK funky and 2-step to acid and jungle; Poté took us deep into the late night with a sweat-soaked hour of global 4x4 heaters; and, finally, Philadelphia-born DJ Swisha gave us a masterclass in Jersey Club's limitless potential.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
