TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Left + Right co-founder Mr_WM blended classic rap and R&B acapellas with funk, jazz, soul and Afrobeats instrumentals; Box Out FM regular Suchi put the spotlight on the wealth of talent coming out of India's electronic scene; Birmingham's Sharnie kept it bubbly with a high-energy hour of garage (and a touch of funky); 6 Figure Gang polymath Jossy Mitsu reinforced her well-earned reputation as one of the UK's most versatile DJs with a journey through dubstep, jungle, techno, hardcore and more; Infernal Sounds boss Visceral delivered a deep and immersive dubstep session; Norwich-based Haze tapped into the UKG underground with flashes of grime and house; Mak10 celebrated his birthday with a vinyl-only voyage through classic moments in grime history; Sheffield's Mr. Dubz put together a relentlessly frantic D&B assault; Bournemouth-based Kira explored the full spectrum of D&B, from ambient and liquid to full-force rave; and, finally, DJ Persuasion took it to the extreme with a mix of jungle so heavy it bordered on breakcore.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
