TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Hyperdub regular Jessy Lanza delivered an enriching and wide-ranging selection ahead of her new album All The Time; DJ P Montana gave us another scorching blend of rap, R&B, Afrobeats and more; Birmingham's Continental GT reminded us why everyone's tuning into his Instagram live with an hour of house and UKG brilliance; Ital Dred boss NOTO got emotional with a (mostly) R&G mix; Boston's (the UK one) Seers pulled together some of his pick of the best new 140 thumpers; Leeds-based Timbah got weird and wonderful with some twisted, rap-infused madness; Roska assumed his Bakongo alias for a session to celebrate his new single "Bopster" / "Anytime"; Anna Morgan whipped up a genre-mashing run-through of just about every bass-oriented sound imaginable; All Centre and TT boss DJ Pitch spotlighted just over an hour of heart-racing club experiments; and, finally, D&B legend DJ Storm celebrated her late friend Kemistry with a B2B classic (with Justiyc on the mic) from the Blue Note/Metalheadz vaults.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
