TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, smooth operator SG Lewis kept us calm with some tender jazz and soul picks; Essie Gang's J Rick spotlighted some of the most adventurous rap, trip, drill and R&B in his collection; J:Kenzo shook us to our very core with an hour of low-end power; Neffa-T went deep into the darkest dubstep he could find; Manchester's Subzero upped the tempo with some ultra bouncy garage and bassline; Grade 10's mysterious Forever whipped up some drum-heavy club rattlers; Montreal's Jamvvis served an eclectic cocktail of rap, D&B, footwork and experimentalism; DJ Paypal celebrated 4/20 with a hazy footwork session; REEF resident Esposito commiserated their cancelled Berghain show with some late night D&B thumpers; and, finally, Rupture's Mantra and Double O (pictured) kept it strictly underground with their techy jungle selections.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
