TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Rotterdam selector Nala Brown (pictured) matched the increasing temperatures with a calming yet uplifting mix of club jams; Canada's Westerley spun together some unreleased dubstep gems from his favourite artists and labels; Paris-based Jaymie Silk took us to the outer reaches of his record bag with an energetic fusion of jungle, gqom, Jersey Club and beyond; Portland's Exodub gave us a run through of the love-themed hip-hop; Durkle Disco boss Koast came through with a whirlwind grime session; the brilliantly named Selecta Skog gave us a whipcrack half hour of off-kilter bangers; PAN affiliate STILL showed us the true face of eclecticism with everything from Lee 'Scratch' Perry to Special Request; Kool FM regular Liondub cranked the energy up with some powerful D&B choices; Germany's DJ Swagger fused jungle, garage, footwork and more in his hedonistic hour of power; and, finally, Cardiff's Missy G paid tribute to her late friend with a teeth-crunching mix of D&B and jungle.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
