TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, São Paulo selector BADSISTA whipped together everything from '90s trance to high-velocity Brazilian funk; Truants boss and founder Soraya soundtracked our growing restlessness with an hour of dark and energetic club music; D&B hero Ed Solo spun together some of his favourite feel-good D&B cuts in lieu of his now-cancelled Jungle Cakes night that was supposed to run this month; Mixpak don Dre Skull spotlighted some of his label's finest offerings including Popcaan, Jubilee, Dubbel Dutch, Florentino and Murlo; and, finally, one half of TNGHT, Lunice, spun together a session of all manner of trap, rap and club experiments designed to put a smile on your face.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
