ENNY Brings South London Energy To The 2026 Hennessy Cypher 🔥

ENNY doesn’t need to shout for the room to listen, and it’s that measured, unmistakable presence that makes her contribution to the Hennessy Cypher 2026 hit so hard. The South London rapper joins Ghana’s Kwesi Arthur, Kenya’s Fena Gitu, Côte d’Ivoire’s Suspect 95, South Africa’s Yanga Chief and Cameroon’s Tenor for this year’s global rap link-up, produced by Nigerian hit-maker Sarz.

On a cypher built around six different voices, ENNY brings the perspective that has made her one of the UK’s most distinctive rap exports. Her delivery is controlled rather than chaotic, her writing personal without being predictable, and her British-Nigerian identity sits naturally within a session designed to connect different corners of African and diaspora culture. That makes her presence more than a UK representative slot: ENNY has spent years proving that you can make music grounded in your own surroundings while still speaking to something much wider. From the global impact of “Peng Black Girls” to her more introspective work, she’s built a reputation around substance, storytelling and an ability to make quiet confidence feel powerful.

And the 2026 Hennessy Cypher gives that approach a bigger canvas. With Sarz on the buttons, the cypher brings together distinct flows, languages and regional influences without losing its hip-hop backbone. It’s also the first edition to feature artists from Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire, further expanding the Hennessy Cypher’s already global scope. Against that wider backdrop, ENNY’s understated delivery and sharp perspective give the cypher a distinctly British edge, while letting her measured delivery do the talking.

“The Hennessy Cypher was a great experience,” says ENNY. “Connecting with other talented artists and being able to be proud of my Nigerian heritage while continuing to represent the UK in the cypher is awesome. It’s important that artistic and cultural representation is continually platformed to further the evolution of music and artists in the diaspora.”

Aimee Kellen, Moët Hennessy MEA’s Regional Marketing Director, adds: “The art of blending is at the heart of Hennessy. Just as distinct eaux-de-vie are brought together to create something exceptional, this year’s Cypher unites six remarkable voices from across Africa and the United Kingdom, each bringing their own perspective and energy. It is a privilege to create a space where these artists can meet, collaborate and make something that could only exist through their collective talent.”
