EXCLUSIVE:
West London Duo Your Loss Share Brain-Melting “Dole Cheque” Visuals

Having just released their self-titled debut project this year, West London pair Your Loss — aka producer Ramon and vocalist privacydied — are already hard at work on the follow-up. That won’t be here until next year, but in the meantime, they’ve just dropped off visuals for the first album’s opening track, “Dole Cheque”.

Juxtaposing ethereal synth washes against privacydied’s almost punk-like delivery, “Dole Cheque” is the perfect introduction to their space-age rowdiness that at various times hints at R&B, funk, grime and much, much more. It’s no wonder the likes of Sam Wise and AJ Tracey were so keen to work with them.

Amplifying that untamed energy, the visuals (courtesy of director Jazz Chrystie and cinematographer Jordan Noon of Not Really collective) stir together disjointed images of the pair in amongst a cataclysm of abstract imagery and brain-melting FX.

While we wait on the next album — as well as a series of singles that includes collabs with Kish Fantastic and Finn Foxell — watch the “Dole Cheque” video exclusively above.
