Just a few weeks ago, Manchester singer-songwriter Victoria Jane released her latest EP, Golden Hour. Having recently landed a show on Radio 1, it quickly scooped universally positive reviews and added to what has been a year of unmitigated success for her.

To celebrate, and keep the wins rolling, she today returns with a combined visual for two of the tracks, “Free” (produced by Mac James) and “Mystery Lady” (produced by Concvptt). It was a pretty varied EP, one that showed us a few different sides to the singer, but these two make for a good pairing, taking us from the laid-back, flute melodies of the former into the more upbeat grooves of the latter.

Filmed by Bounty and co-directed by Victoria Jane and Whitney Galloway, the video gives an intimate look at the singer and her team’s process with flashes of BTS footage of them putting her plans into action. Fellow Mancunian K.I.M.E makes an appearance of course, stepping in to add some words of wisdom on the final verse of “Free”.
