London rapper T.Solo and producer Chris Xylo have been collaborating on bright and melodic R&B-rap fusions for a number of years now, and in that time they’ve stacked up an impressive collection of melody-rich, club-friendly heaters that balance the soulful melodies of R&B with the quick-witted lyricism of rap. Their latest team-up is “Not Like This”, one of their more rap-focused creations, which is proving to be their most successful to date and is quickly marking them out as the scene’s best kept secret and gathering more and more airplay by the day.

As work on their second EP continues — which promises collaborations with the likes of Skrapz, Raheem Bakare and Tamaraebi — they’ve just dropped off visuals for “Not Like This”. Matching the crisp snap of Xylo’s production and the infectious energy of Solomon’s highly quotable bars, the visuals from LJ Edits set the well-dressed rapper against a sharp grey backdrop as he fires out his breathless deluge of tongue-twisting rhymes.
