EXCLUSIVE: Silva Bumpa And Capo Lee Celebrate Classic Bassline With “Songs Of Praise”

Sheffield-born bass head Silva Bumpa’s has teamed up with Capo Lee for his new single, “Songs Of Praise”, another low-end depth charge inspired by Bumpa’s love of northern rave and bassline.

Speaking on the track, Silva Bumpa shares: “I’ve been a massive fan of Capo for a long time and always wanted to hear what he would sound like over some 06/07 bassline kinda stuff. I played him the beat and thankfully he rated it, so I’m super happy with how it turned out.”

It’s the latest triumph in what has so far been a flawless year for Bumpa. He kicked off with a Boiler Room show with a freshly reunited Skream and Benga and his Silva Bumpa Presents monthly residency at Sheffield’s HopeWorks continues to go from strength to strength.

Capo Lee’s year got off to a flying start too, having just wrapped up the massive AM To PM tour with Bakey, hitting seven UK cities in support of the EP of the same name that dropped at the end of last year.

And if you can’t make it to HopeWorks, Silva Bumpa is also heading on the road for a series of gis in Cardiff, Leeds, Brighton, Manchester and London's Corsica Studios.
