EXCLUSIVE: Punk-Rap Duo Para Fiction Are The “Diabolical Twins” Of Your Nightmares

The fusion of rap and punk isn't a new one (the lineage can be traced as far back as the Beastie Boys in the late '80s), but it is something that's been perfected and brought into its own in a big way in the last couple of years—particularly here in the UK.

You may be familiar with the likes of KiLLOWEN, and if that's your thing, you'll definitely want to know about rowdy Brighton duo Para Fiction, aka Jambo Unchained and Master Fado. Their latest single, "Diabolical Twins", is a signature tune if ever there was one, introducing us to their abrasive flows and distorted production values.

"Diabolical Twins" by no means happened in a vacuum; their first four singles "Wavey Days", "Age Of The Imbecile", "Unchained" and finally "PAP£R" gradually expanded on the blueprint of rap rawness, reaching the ear-bludgeoning crescendo that you can listen to before. Where they will go from here is probably not something anyone could accurately predict, but an EP or even a mixtape wouldn't be unwelcome.
