Romford-raised KeepVibesNear is back with the video for his new single, “In Your Eyes”, a laid-back R&B jam that comes complete with a hook from Watford alt-pop singer Jay Lewn. The new track is lifted from NOIR, an upcoming project that takes its name from what he describes as his “noir R&B” sound

Producer Harvey Whyte backs the pair’s lovelorn back-and-forth with a relaxed rhythm and gentle grooves that give the track just enough energy without taking away from their angst. The ultra-stylish video, which KVN himself co-directs with Henry Croston, hits a similar note, putting the pair at the heart of a party while stripping all colour from the scene.

Explaining a bit more about the track, KVN shares: “Sometimes your image of someone or expectations don’t match up with reality and I think that’s something everyone comes across at some point in life. Perception is an interesting thing and I guess this song is a conversation about trying to be that for someone as well as the fear of not being able to.”

NOIR, which is also set to feature Benny Banks and Gwadalean, is due for release on February 23 via Melting Pot Music. In the meantime, hit play on the new video at the top.
