Nigerian-born, Irish-raised JyellowL is one of the most exciting prospects in rap. With a sound that would probably be called “alt-rap”, he’s found himself right at the forefront of Ireland’s thriving and completely unique hip-hop scene. No longer confined to the underground, he’s also been breaking into mainstream spaces with last year’s “Ozone” recently featured on the FIFA 2020 soundtrack.

Recent hits “Doesn’t Feel Like” and “JeweLs” built on that success nicely, and now he’s ready with his latest heater, “Mademoiselle”, which comes with a deeply soulful hook from fellow Dubliner Chris Kabs. Applying his sharper-than-ever mic skills to a twinkling, piano-led instrumental, JyellowL speaks on his ambitions, the value of independence and, most importantly of all, how essential it is to have someone who’ll stick by you through thick and thin.
