Jon Phonics’ mighty Astral Black label has been celebrating a decade in the game all this year with some stellar new projects from Jossy Mitsu, SusTrapperazzi, and Prem, and now the label is gearing up for the release of FRASS FM VI, the latest installment of their long-running compilation series.

Ahead of the comp’s September 8 release, they’ve lifted the lid on “Sweat In The Set” by skater and artist JULESWEAT. True to his East London roots, It’s a smoky, low-slung piece of grime that’s teeming with classic pirate radio energy while still sounding as if it crash-landed on Earth just moments ago.

As the FRASS FM title suggests, the cross-genre collection feels more like a snapshot of a pirate radio station, pulling together rap, jungle, rugged house music and abstract electronics. Also featured on the 14-tracker are DJ Milktray, Jon Phonics, Jossy Mitsu, SusTrapperazzi, NIGELTHREETIMES, Samuel Organ, Sivey, Bruised Skies & THUGWIDOW, Dee TDL, Will Lister, Glinks, Xao and Poison Zcora.
