Still riding high on the 10th anniversary celebrations for his iconic Kapsize label, Purple originator Joker is back with another dubby workout, this time with Newham General and King Original boss Footsie. “Marching Orders” sees Footsie take on a bubbling, squelching Joker production, coloured with all the psychedelic, p-funk flourishes he’s known for. There’s no denying the evolution Joker’s sound has undergone over the years, and “Marching Orders” manages to maintain that while alluding to where he came from as a producer. The track will be released with B-side “Polka Dot” via Kapsize on May 18 (pre-order it here).
