EXCLUSIVE:
Bristol Producer Dom Porter And Zimbabwe-Born R&B Singer Violet Jones Connect For Seductive Late Night Jam “Honey”

Dom Porter, the producer formerly known as Outhouse, has spent the last couple of years working behind the scenes to create magic for talents like [K S R] and Mercy’s Cartel, but then in the first half of this year he made the leap with his first solo outing, “Me & U”. Since then he’s embarked on a collaborative venture with Zimbabwe-born, London-based R&B vocalist Violet Jones and today we’ve got the fruits of their labour.

“Honey” is as smooth and sweet as the title suggests, a low-slung R&B jam punctuated with funk bass stabs and fluttering falsetto. The balance between Jones’ seductive tones and Porter’s taut yet smooth instrumental is one that was heaven-sent and with any luck it won’t be their last.

“Honey” is out tomorrow (November 20), but for now you can hit play on the smouldering visualiser at the top.
