EXCLUSIVE:
Dexplicit Reveals Tension-Filled “Exodus” From Upcoming ‘Gotham’ EP

Perhaps best known for his era-defining production on Lethal Bizzle’s “POW” or his gargantuan back catalogue of riddims and remixes, Dexplicit’s role in shaping the UK underground is impossible to deny. A titan in every scene he’s touched, his love of using string samples in his beats has made every one of his instrumentals immediately recognisable.

Case in point: his upcomng Gotham EP on P Jam’s Beatcamp imprint. Ahead of the June 19, we’ve got one of the three tracks, “Exodus”, exclusively below. Driven by a searing synth melody and some weighty bass, it doesn’t take long before the mid-section erupts into a dramatic string section.

If you like that, you’ll be pleased to learn the ominous tension continues through the EP, which also happens to include the “Gotham” instrumental Wiley used on Godfather 3 extract “Bruce Wayne”.

While we wait on the full EP on vinyl and digital, you can pre-order it from tomorrow (June 5) right here.
