I have often found myself in rooms trying to meaningfully convey the depth of the impact we’ve so intentionally co-created, beyond data points and PowerPoint recaps. That encapsulates the thrill of the first touch of the ball at a Unity Cup; the roar of Gambling’s World Famed Marching Band at the Bayou Classic; the quiet confidence of staff from a Cornerstone store launching their Business Track SMU (and selling out in hours); the exhilaration of a founder pitching our SLT after months of support refining their pitches through Community LAB. Because this is what 100 million hours (and counting!) of shared purpose, mentorship, and intentional community programming feels like. Beyond a legacy: it is an ecosystem of change memorialized in these pages, as we pause, reflect, and continue to rise in 2026 and beyond.

A CIRCLE OF TRUST: THE POWER OF US

When we started, our goal was to open doors and make sure they stayed open. It was only through deep listening, shared vulnerability, and an abundance of trust that we were able to build this enduring space of collaboration. This wasn’t by chance; this was created with purpose, underpinned by a commitment to community. We architected this ecosystem of change by anchoring empathy, honoring culture, and defining how sport can be the platform for change we always believed it could be. And we didn’t do this alone. We invited community leaders directly to the drawing board and treated their lived experience (truthfully, our shared lived experience) as a true north, ensuring every window of opportunity was built with, for, and by those we serve.

Our partnerships moved past transactional relationships into profound, shared lasting connections. Like any beautifully orchestrated vision, this work required an unwavering sense of curiosity and care. The result is the transformative art of resonance, achieved through transformative art of resonance, achieved through an authentic, collaborative alignment that forged pathways exceeding anything we had originally set out to realize—together.

EVERY DAY IS AN ARCHIVE: SCALING THE LEGACY OF CARE

This letter is not a conclusion—it’s a declaration of momentum. This is the moment we pause to momentum. This is the moment we pause to honor the movement we have built, and to recognize that the most important work is the legacy of care that outlives us all.

As I reflect on what we’ve accomplished, I’m reminded of the responsibility we continue to carry. The goal is always to build a structure that endures far beyond our own tenure—a framework that ensures the next gen doesn’t have to start from scratch.
