Woman Reconnects With Missing Son After Spotting Him In Bugzy Malone Video

Earlier this year, Bugzy Malone's B. Inspired album dropped to huge critical acclaim, mixing the usual underground bars with a few splashes of chart potential.

One of those tracks was Rag'n'Bone Man collab "Run", a stunning example of how to create credible rap music with real chart potential. As was reported at the time, the video was created to highlight homelessness in Britain and featured real homeless people from Manchester.

Now it's emerged that one of the people featured in the video has now been reconnected with his family after his mother spotted him.

"We got an email off a mum of one of the guys," Bugzy explained to DJ Target on his 1Xtra show. "The guy had been missing for six months, to a year. He was on the missing list. And when she's seen him in my music video, it made her go out and find him."

Bugzy went on to tell Target that he'd spoken with the man since making the video:

"Long story short, he tried to commit suicide and that kind of thing, now he's back with his family. He said when he was in his hospital bed after trying to commit suicide she [his mum] showed him my Instagram. A caption said, 'My guy was special regardless of his circumstances, you never know what people have been through.' When he's seen that I'd written nice things about him, it inspired him to get his life back on track. He's back home with his family and he's got a girlfriend."
