Here's something we've been longing for: some new music from The Streets. Two months ago, Mike Skinner announced he would be resurrecting the project with The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light tour (named after a recent collab with Alexa Chung).

Well, today Skinner has answered our prayers with two new tracks, "Burn Bridges" and "Sometimes I Hate My Friends More Than My Enemies". It's not clear whether an album or larger project is on the way, but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth.

The first track is a booming, trappy production with Mike's inimitable spoken word style drifting ominously over the top. The latter, meanwhile, is a little closer to the UKG sound so closely associated with The Streets.
