Take A Trip To "Biscuit Town" In The Eerie, Noirish New Video From King Krule

August 29, 2018

For all its divisiveness, King Krule's The OOZ album from last year proved to be one of his biggest yet. Ever since the release we've been treated to more and more videos to accompany key tracks from the collection. The latest is the noirish visual for opening track "Biscuit Town", helmed by directors cc. Wade, that brings out the hint of surrealism that's never far from Krule's visual aesthetic (remember the lunar performance?).

A track filled with symbolism and little nods to his career, keen fans will notice the allusion to his 2013 EP as Edgar the Beatmaker, Darkest Shades Of Blue, on the TV screen. The cover for 6 Feet Beneath The Moon can also be seen on a poster in the background, and the deeply creepy scuba diver from "Octopus" can be spotted in one of the shots too.

Whether we can expect new music or more OOZ videos from Krule this year is anyone's guess. As is always the case with the South London auteur, expect the unexpected.
