As January trudges on, it is inevitably a time to look forward. And what better way to do that than with the debut single from an artist already turning heads and injecting something new into the scene. Emerging rapper Rushy of Straight3 has already uploaded a fair few tracks to the trio's SoundCloud, but "Trippidy Trap" and its accompanying video marks Rushy's first official drop.

In it, a dreamy, almost surreal instrumental plays out, lulling us into a false sense of security before Rushy steps up with a self-assured flow that sits between the overlapping worlds of trap and drill. The visuals for this one come courtesy of Boya Dee and Ruby Seresin who give the track an artistic and pristine backdrop that suits the twinkling production perfectly.
