Sneakbo's Brixton will no doubt be all over everyone's Year End lists this year, and rightly so. A mixture of high energy bangers and introspective lyrical workouts, the album showed us a more mature and versatile Sneakbo than ever.

Right from the opening track of the album we got our first taste of a more thoughtful Sneakbo. "Intro" was equal parts hard-hitting list of tragic life paths he narrowly escaped and part heartfelt thank you to his mother and to God for keeping him on the straight and narrow.

The restrained hip-hop production comes from frequent collaborator Lekaa Beats and is matched in tone by an equally subdued video courtesy of Chase Appeti and BDot. Following the South London rapper from his Michael Jackson and 50 Cent-adorned bedroom, through the streets and on to a rowdy video shoot, it's been a hell of a journey for Sneakbo.
