After meeting in an East London Wetherspoons, Shy One and Kwam MC have collaborated on an appropriately-titled, six-track Spoons project, touching on themes such as life in London and the prejudice directed at certain sections of society. Kwam's honest lyrics and technically impressive flows and hooks are fuelled by the explorative and powerful production work of Shy One, who expertly uses chord progressions and powerful samples (e.g. a police raid at a Soul II Soul rave in the '90s) to bring an added layer of life and depth to proceedings.
