President T's Stranger Returns LP has been so long in the making and so eagerly, desperately anticipated by the grime scene that even he started to make jokes in his bars about how long it was taking. As of today, though, the wait is over. Joining Wiley, D Double E (and, if somewhat shaky rumours are to be believed, either or both of the Adenuga brothers), Prez T has chosen 2018 as the year to drop a massive blockbuster album. After all that build-up, you might have worried if it would live up to the hype. Put those fears aside, though, because Stranger Returns is a non-stop, merciless masterclass in how to build a grime banger. 

Besides production input, there are only two features—D Double and Wiley—but Prez more than carries the album himself. As much as we would've loved a Bloodline link-up or another Prez T/Jme collab, the less-is-more approach to features was the ideal choice. After all, it's President T we've been waiting for, not President T & Friends.
