Poppy Ajudha Shares Double Visuals For Some Of Her Most Arrestingly Soulful Work Yet

February 25, 2019

Taken from her Patience EP, which was released at the end of last year, 23-year-old singer-songwriter Poppy Ajudha has released visuals for two of the tracks "When You Watch Me" and "Searching/Inside Of Me" as she prepares for her upcoming UK and European tour.

Speaking about the video, Poppy Ajudha explained that it's "an extension of the ideas in the video for 'The Man You Aim To Be'; the wings Royal Ballet school dancer, Kele Roberson, wears represent the burden of stereotyped ideologies that are projected onto us and that we are forced carry as part of our identities. Lyrically, 'When You Watch Me' represents the small joys that love and acceptance create and in turn make these burdens easier to carry."
