Oscar #Worldpeace Challenges Instituionalised Racism On New Single "No White God"

April 19, 2018

In preparation for the release of his EP IC3 on May 11, North London rapper Oscar #Worldpeace is dropping his new single "No White God", taken from the four-track project.

Inspired by reggae legend Sizzla, the dark, direct message of the song is designed to challenge the institutionalised racism fostered within the whitewashing of religious icons. The track also references another UK black music legend Smiley Culture who died suspiciously during a botched police raid.

Speaking on the project as a whole, Oscar explained that "the focal point of this project is my thoughts and opinions on police brutality and growing up as a black male in Tottenham, London."
