Om Unit Calls On dBridge, O$VMV$M, Sorrow And Seekers International To Revamp 'Self' Highlights

September 05, 2018

Last October, Cosmic Bridge boss Om Unit released his third album, Self, a 12-track collection of snarling bass, stunning atmospherics and an exploration of the more nuanced side to his output, though still with a generous dose of breaks.

That album may be approaching its one year anniversary but its tracks are still proving to be fan favourites. With that in mind, Om Unit's picked out four of his favourites - "What I Can Be", "Tahatan", "Nothing" and "Passages" - to be remixed by four of his favourite producers, dBridge, O$VMV$M (aka JABU and Neek), Sorrow and Seekers International.

Across the four remixes we get drum & bass, ambient, UK garage and a bunch of sounds yet to be labelled. It's testament to the talent of everyone involved that we've got four tracks so wildly different from their source materials. Let's hope it's sparked some inspiration in Om Unit for album number four.
