Nipah Admits To Being "Selfish" With Her Stash On Smoky New R&B Cut

March 01, 2018

No one likes a scrounge. It's one thing to share, but that has to go both ways. And that goes double when it comes to weed, according to rising R&B singer Nipah. Her new single, "Selfish", is about those friends who always seem to come round empty-handed. This ain't for us, this ain't for we / This ain't for you, it's all for me, she explains for what we're sure is not the first time.

Produced by Leo Luchini (who also contributes a guest verse), "Selfish" is marked out by the combination of her laid-back style and wit with an equally cool instrumental. Where recent singles "We" and "Forever" (both essential listens while you're here) had more of a classic vibe, Luchini's influence brings a stronger hip-hop element, though it's no less relaxed for it.

Take it in below and make sure to keep tabs on Nipah.

Updated on March 22: The video has now been released.
