Newly Grammy-Nominated Jorja Smith Reveals Video For "The One"

December 10, 2018

It's been quite a year for 21-year-old Jorja Smith, releasing her Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut album Lost & Found and winning The BRITs Critic's Choice Award for 2018, but now the newly Grammy-nominated artist has dropped visuals for standout album cut "The One".

Shot by Pulse Films director Hector Dockrill, he said that "the track really inspired me to try and visualise what it's like to keep getting pulled back into a relationship. With the concept I wanted to leave the question: what has happened? I also felt the video should be beautifully simple to let Jorja's incredible energy and performance drive the video, which she naturally did."

The video comes in the midst of Jorja Smiths' North American tour. While the song already has two official remixes, including one from Sir Spyro, you can watch the video for the original below.
