Meet Temi Mwale, Youth Violence Activist And Founder Of The 4Front Project

January 08, 2019

Headlines surrounding youth violence are impossible to avoid and it seems to be only getting worse. Fortunately, there are people getting down to the root of the problem and doing everything they can to turn the tide. One such person is Temi Mwale, founder of The 4Front Project.

In this new documentary series, director and photographer Ashleigh Jadee interviews Mwale about her work as an activist as well as digging really deep into the root causes of this wave of youth violence.

Across the 22 videos of this series, Jadee and Mwale tackle a huge range of issues in far more detail than we can accurately sum up here. In short, some of the underlying causes they discuss include violent home lives, poverty, self-worth, mental health, educating the youth about the law, unemployment and politics.

However, like we said, they go into a lot of detail that would take us pages and pages to accurately run through so we would urge you to set aside enough time to watch the every video in the playlist.
