Mancunian Hip-Hop Collective The Mouse Outfit Inject Much-Needed Colour Into Concrete Landscapes On "Repeat"

April 18, 2018

On May 4, Manchester's The Mouse Outfit will release their fourth studio album, Jagged Tooth Crook, and to kick things off they've shared the visuals for one of the album's lead singles in "Recruit".

As ever, the band's use of live instruments and classic hip-hop tropes stands out from afar, creating a jazzy, old school feel, furthered by the production from Chini and Metrodome. Meanwhile, Dubbul O, Sparkz and Ellis Meade, all members of the expansive rap collective, chime in with their respective brands of verbal gymnastics.

Take a look at the video below from central figures James Defty and Ellis Meade to see the crew add some much-needed colour to the grey skies and concrete landscapes.
