Liverpudlian R&B Crooner Brad Stank Has A Bone To Pick With You On "Pond Weed"

Liverpudlian R&B Crooner Brad Stank Has A Bone To Pick With You On "Pond Weed"

April 05, 2018

Almost exactly a month since his attention-grabbing "Daddy Blue" / "O.T.D" single, Liverpool's Brad Stank is back with another slice of wry, jazzy R&B balladry called "Pond Weed"

The fusion of psychedelics, R&B and jazz remains as free-spirited and potent as it's ever been on his releases, but this time it's his dry sense of humour that steals the show. Though "Pond Weed" may sound gloomy and downcast, Stank explains that the lyrics are, in fact, "half love-song, half diss track to a certain herbal tycoon; a confessional slice of Saturday morning R&B from me to you".

Take a listen to "Pond Weed" below, which (surprise, surprise) clocks in at exactly 4:20.
