Since it was Mother's Day yesterday, South London rapper Kaniva dropped a new video entitled "Mummy Says", a track which details some key events in his life and contemplating how they could be different if he had only listened to his mum. At the same time, he recognises that he needed to go through those experiences to be the person he is now, and he does this all with the same smooth flow and clever lyrics we've come to expect from him.
