Just in time for your Bank Holiday shenanigans, UK rap pro Jesse James Solomon has dropped a surprise new EP called Strata.

Frankly, we're still reeling from his limelight-stealing verse on Suspect's "One Way" back in March (I'm baking off with the bacons-ns / I don't deal with no pagans-ns), so we're hardly going to start acting ungrateful.

Having said that, if you approach this looking for a continuation of the heat he spat on "One Way", you may be disappointed. Come to it with an open mind, however, and you'll be treated to a collection of warming, cerebral rap workouts backed by an adventurous choice of instrumentals and some canny guest spots from Kadiata and Eliza.
