As his last album, The Colour In Everything, fades into the distant recesses of our internet-addled memories, many of us have been wondering when the next substantial James Blake release is coming.

Fortunately, if these recent videos are anything to go by, that could be sooner than we'd thought. During some recent West Coast shows, James Blake treated lucky fans to three new originals: "I Can't Believe That We Float", "Asking For A Friend", and "Black Lung".

While the latter two tracks sit within the slow, spacious minimalism we've come to expect from Blake, "I Can't Believe That We Float" packs a bit more of a punch with some huge thumping percussion.

It's not much to go off just yet, and could simply mean three standalone singles are on their way (although we were promised new material this summer), but this is enough for now.
