IAMDDB's "Conjuring" Is A Rowdy, Late-Night Explosion

February 09, 2018

After a huge 2017 for Manchester's IAMDDB, not least because of the hugely successful Hoodrich Vol. 3 EP, today she's dropping the visuals for the booming EP opener, "Conjuring".

The video, directed by KC Locke, opens with some eerie Stranger Things-esque synths and a lingering shot of IAMDDB and boyfriend Sleazy F, before the track and its visuals erupt into a rowdy, late-night explosion.

As ever, "Conjuring" continues to explore what she calls 'urban jazz', a blend of rap and R&B with club-ready instrumentals. No matter how trappy the production or how much influence there is from Atlanta, all that is shot through with an unmistakably Mancunian spirit.

Take a look below and look out for the Hoodrich Pop Up Shop in the Hoxton Basement on February 20.
