Many would argue, quite rightly, that clashing is grime in its purest form. Two or more MCs, going toe-to-toe over whichever riddims the DJ sees fit, and tearing each other down using nothing but their wits.

There are a lot of classic clashes, but there are also a lot of slept ones that have slipped into obscurity. One clash that falls into the latter category is this sparring session between Chip and Griminal. Though it starts out relatively civil, the jabs get more and more personal as the levels of tension rise and rise.

Even though Chip says "half his bars don't make any sense", we'd still like to see a return from Griminal. Either way, there's no good reason this clash shouldn't be considered a classic with the best of them.
