Yesterday, rapidly rising Manchester emcee Aitch dropped his latest single "Wait", a dark and icy rap cut that's bound to do bits for the young star.

So what better time to dip into the archives to see how far he's come in such a short space of time. A couple of years ago, Aitch made a big impact with his P110 #1Take Freestyle in which he wears his Manny accent proudly, methodically laying out his distinctly North West flow over a chugging, bass-driven grime instrumental.

Who can say whether he'll continue down the rap route, revisit his grime foundations or go with some combination of the two? Regardless, he's more than worth watching this year.
