HERITAGE: Remind Yourself Of Amy Winehouse's Astonishing Talent With Her "Stronger Than Me" Performance On 'Jools Holland' (2003)

Though Amy Winehouse's life and untimely passing were mired in tragedy, it would be a huge disservice to her talent if those circumstances were to overshadow her music.

Despite having more hits than most artists could ever hope for, Winehouse only ever released two studio albums. Sure, Back To Black was the fan favourite, but debut Frank was every bit as powerful as its follow-up. We're all familiar with "Back To Black", "Rehab" and her cover of The Zutons' "Valerie", but spare a thought for "Stronger Than Me" from her debut, a soulful piece of music every bit as visceral and deeply affecting as any of her biggest hits.

Here she is on what looks like a hip-hop and soul edition of Jools Holland back in 2003, around the time of Frank's release, giving the world just a taste of the incredible music that was yet to come.
