HERITAGE: Marvyn And Napper's Take On 'Wild N Out' For 'The Sunday Show' Should Never Be Forgotten (2011)

November 30, 2018

For today's Heritage we're going back to the historic Sunday Show. Hosted by founders Marvyn Harrison and grime MC Napper, The Sunday Show ran from 2007 to 2012 and gave a platform to emerging artists and gave early breaks to a lot of huge names. Mo The Comedian got one of his first breaks there, presenting the showcase segment; Krept & Konan and Lady Leshurr were put on early, and the likes of J.Cole and Tyga were given early UK slots as well.

The video below comes from the games segment of the show where Marvyn and Napper select teams from the artists and comedians who'd been guests on that particular episode. The game show would consistent of random things, but usually centre around a comedy theme like not being able to laugh, a race to eat cream crackers, unravel toilet roll and general knowledge.

On Marvyn's team there was Ghetts, Mo The Comedian, Lioness, Prince Rapid, Joe Black, Jamie Howard and T Boy (Don't Jealous Me). And on Napper's team, Krept & Konan, Fumin, Stutta, A Dot and J2K.

There's a whole load more faces in there, so shout out to you if you spot them all.
