HERITAGE: Kano And Ghetts Make MOBO History With "Typical Me" Performance (2005)

November 28, 2017

Tomorrow night, the MOBO Awards will hit the First Direct Arena in Leeds with performances from Cardi B, Krept & Konan, Stefflon Don, Yxng Bane and more. If past shows are anything to go by, we could be in for some big stage shows.

For 2005's edition of the awards show, Kano and Ghetts (or Ghetto as he was back then) performed "Typical Me" from the former's career-defining debut Home Sweet Home. With them they brought a huge cast of characters including bouncers and enough dancers to fill an actual club.

MOBO performances can be huge, show-stopping moments that are talked about for years, and that was definitely the case here. Let's hope this year's artists live up to the legacies of Kano, Ghetto and the rest.
