Although it's only been the past three or four years that the U.S has really started to take notice of UK talent, they weren't exactly ignoring us before then. 

Back in 2008, Giggs, Skepta, Ghetts, Chip and a few others headed out to Atlanta for the BET Awards where they'd all been nominated for Best UK Hip-Hop Act, in addition to Wiley and Dizzee. Giggs eventually won out, collecting the award live in the flesh. 

Here they all are delivering a quick cypher for the Awards show the same year, riding an ice cold rap beat while they drop bars and pars left, right and centre.
