HERITAGE: Crissy D And Lady G Join UKG Powerhouse The B-15 Project To Perform "Girls Like Us" On 'Top Of The Pops' (2000)

One of UK garage's most industrious teams in the scene's heyday was The B-15 Project, a production outfit consisting of Angus Campbell and Ian Wallman (and at one time Danny Wynn). As Gail Porter helpfully explains in the clip, B-15 were named after the postcode of the studio they worked at in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

They didn't just find success recording and releasing plenty of their own material, e.g. "Girls Like Us", below. Beginning in the late '90s and running through the early 2000s, the  pair were an industry powerhouse, producing and remixing for some of the UK (and Jamaican) underground's most respected names, including Beenie Man, Shola Ama, Ms. Dynamite, Lady G and Crissy D.

Here they are, below, with the latter two Crissy D and Lady G performing their 2000 anthem, and very possibly their biggest release to date, "Girls Like Us". The track peaked at number 7 in the charts, but would be their only single to chart as The B-15 Project.
