Chances are you might already have seen the odd clip from this legendary Ally Pally rave, that featured So Solid Crew, Pay As U Go and DJ EZ back in 2001. Naturally, anything involving any of those names will be hungrily devoured by grime and garage fans, not least because of a standout appearance from the late, great Major Ace. 

Today, though, we're highlighting a very young Wiley who delivers a rapid-fire barrage of lyrics over the snappy instrumental from EZ. On a stage surrounded by unmistakably UKG flows, Wiley's proto-grime delivery stands out as a beacon that, looking back, was a potent sign of what was to come.
