HERITAGE: A Young, Fresh-Faced Headie One Shows Us How Much Raw Potential He Had From The Start (2011)

July 16, 2018

The steady and relentless string of successful singles from Headie One over the past few months has made it feel as if he's always been here.

For today's Heritage we're going back to his early days in Broadwater Farm, Tottenham, for a very early drop of his, as part of Star Gang, called "Youngers From Farm". Over the instrumental from Fabolous' "Keepin It Gangsta", Headie One — or Headz as he was back then — handles the first verse from around 0:40, followed by Young Josh, Mad Stanz, Young Kash, and Young RV who handles the hook.

It's pretty raw but Headz' undeniable talent and charisma shine through straight away. For anyone sceptical of the drill flow, this video is a solid reminder that Headie One is far more versatile than you give him credit for.
