GreenTea Peng Introduces Us To Her New Age Spiritualist Universe On "Moonchild"
Growing up in Bermondsey before moving to Hastings when she was 12, GreenTea Peng has always felt a bit of an outsider. Fortunately for us, that pushed her to create mind-expanding R&B and immerse herself in a world of new age spiritualism.
Produced by Earbuds, her latest single "Moonchild" comes with some Kesh-directed visuals that play out like a surreal patchwork of images, neatly matching her dreamy vocals and the shifting instrumental.
On the connection between her spiritualism and her art, she explained: "I'm searching for it myself you know. I'm going through a stage where I'm exploring my vulnerable side, which I've never done before. I hate this 'no feelings' movement. I think the world and our generation needs less of it. Vibration is all that is real. So I guess if there was gonna be a message in my music it would be LOVE AND POSITIVITY and just honesty in general you know."
