Faze Miyake Gifts Us Five New Vocal Tracks On 'Role Reversal' EP

August 13, 2018

Woofer Music don, producer and now rapper, Faze Miyake's just dropped a new project, the Role Reversal — The Throwaway EP. The new five-tracker dropped at midnight last night and it's safe to say that fans of the stuff he's been uploading to SoundCloud over the past year or so will be pretty happy with the results.

As with those recent efforts, Faze has taken a step back from production duties (although he still had a hand in most of the EP), handing duties over to guests like Jikay, Honeywood Six and Diamondz (who produced "Weekend", "Thumbs Up" and "Ain't Changed", respectively), so that he can focus more on the mic.

The autotune he's been experimenting with also takes centre stage on this EP as Faze smudges with the boundaries between rapping and singing, as well as providing the hooks. His music has changed and evolved enormously over the past few years, but his unmistakable dry humour's still the thing that ties it all together.
