Don't Touch My Hair: Art Director Launches Anti-Hair Touching Video Game

November 16, 2017

We've all heard the stories of people asking ethnic minorities if they can touch their hair. One American art director got so tired of people putting their hands in her hair that she made a game about it. Entitled Hair Nah, the game gives off those old-school Mini Clip vibes as it follows Aeva—a young black woman (you can pick her hairstyle and skin tone) on the way to a destination of your choice (Osaka, Havana or Santa Monica Pier) as you protect her hair by swatting away the reaching hands.

Even though it's a game, the creator Momo Pixel says: "This is an experience that black women face daily. So a note to those that do it. STOP THAT SHIT."

Play the game here.
